Beckie, Kyle and Robbie

Totally forgot to write about the Graham happenings! Beckie and Robbie are in flight at this moment headed to VA. Kyle got orders to Camp Lejuene beginning May1. Beckie and Robyn are going to take a road trip with the kids to NC to check out housing. Beckie and Robyn are going to stay with them until the beginning of April them head up to MI to visit us for a few weeks! Kyle is going to drive the moving truck across the country and Beckie and Robbie are going to meet him there at the beginning of May.

2012 brings much change!

I think everyone knows by now that we moved from AZ to Michigan last fall. I spent most of December in Virginia with Robyn and Zach helping around the house and easing the burden them during the last few weeks of pregnancy. It was fun! Raeleigh Shea Richardson entered the world on Christmas Day :) after Robyn was in labor for about 48 hours :( Raeleigh waited to be born until her grandpa and Uncle Brendan got to VA! The birth was so fast, everyone was healthy and there were no complications. We headed back to Michigan on New Years Eve and have been settling in since then.
Brendan stayed in AZ from the end of September until the day after his 18th birthday, December 23. He finished high school on his birthday, December 22, a semester early. He came back to Michigan with Bob and I and was able to pick up a part-time job at Petsmart. Right now he is waiting to hear back from UCYC camp in Prescott, AZ. He applied to be a summer camp counselor. Robyn and Zach bought him a plane ticket to AZ for his Grad-birth-Christmas present and is heading out to AZ on Tuesday. If he doesn't get the job at UCYC he's coming back to MI in April, if he does get the job, he will stay in AZ until August. He is going to be going to college this fall in VA and living with Zach and Robyn. He's excited about that because not only will he get to hang out with Zach and Robyn all the time, he will get to see Raeleigh grow up! Also he will get to be part of the brand new church his youth pastor Aaron Thomas is planting in Silver Spring, MD.
I attached a few snaps of the grand kids :) I can't believe I'm a grandma to 2! God is so good :)

and another 8 months go by...

So what's new you ask? Haha well, we successfull made the move 7 doors down the street on August 28th, 2010 and 2 days later Beckie went to the hospital to be induced. Robert Emery Graham was born August 31, 2010. Most of you know and have seen pictures of baby Robbie, but I will post a few for your enjoyment!

Beckie, Kyle and Robbie moved from Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California to Ramona, California last month. Kyle was transferred to Miramar in San Diego. Robbie has 5 teeth now and is well on his way to eating all kinds of food. He is crawling and trying to stand up against the furniture.

Robyn and Zach are doing well in the DC area. They are expecting their first child mid December and are incredibly excited! Robyn's youth pastor is starting a church in Silver Spring, MD in the next several months, they are excited and can't wait for the oportunity to help wherever they can! The church will be about 30 minutes from their home. Robyn and Zach have both started college classes and were going to sign up for a co-ed softball league until they found out Robyn is expecting, there's always next year! Brendan, Bob and I took a trip out to DC to spend Christmas with Robyn and Zach. It was a great surprise when Zach opened the door and Beckie, Robbie and Kyle were standing there! They drove down from Alabama, where they were visiting Kyles family, and spent a few days with us.

Brendan tried out for baseball at his high school and made the JV team. He had alot of fun playing and had an awesome coach. Bob and I didnt miss a game, it was so much fun watching him play again!

Bob and I are doing good. Bob's work load has picked up and is working about 10 hours each day and sometimes on Saturday. I am still doing daycare and it is going great. Bob and his sister are planning a 50th Wedding Anniversary for his parents this Memorial Day weekend. Our puppy Aspen is doing good, he and Harley get along great.

change is good...right?

July 17 was the day Harley delivered 8 beautiful black puppies, and so the fiasco began!
They were the cutest little puppies I had ever seen, and boy were they a handful! I can for sure say I don't know how Octomom does it! I am SO very glad that 5 of them are in good homes! I loved having them here, sometimes...but truly I am glad that 5 are gone. In a couple of weeks 2 more will be gone and only one, our little Aspen, will remain.
In the chaos of having puppies under foot, Beckie faced her own challenges of pregnancy. A few weeks ago the doctor thought she was having preeclampsia. After a visit to L&D and several test results later, the diagnosis was stress, not preeclampsia. God is good! She is not about 37 1/2 weeks along and hoping that the day for baby robbie to show his face is sooner rather than later. Beckie is holding up well for the wear tho, even handling bouts of morning sickness, (yes, MORNING SICKNESS at this stage) like a trooper!
Robyn and Zach have had thier fill of car troubles in their first couple of months in DC, but I think things are starting to settle down!
Brendan decided to enroll at the new High School in the District, so he will finish out Jr & Sr years at Shadow Ridge and be part of the first graduating class of the school! How fun!
Bob and I have foound a home to rent, 7 doors to the south :) We have been packing and preparing for weeks and the bg day in 9 days away, yea, a week before Beckies due date!
Well, gotta do what we gotta do!

7 months!

Robyn and Zachs family wedding celebration

So last time I actually had time to post anything was 7 months ago, wow...

So I will update on each of our children after I say that Bob and I are doing wonderfully and enjoying as much time together as we can. He planned a weekend getaway for us to a cabin in a Nature Preserve to celebrate 22 years since we said "I DO" We are in the midst of selling our home for a number of reasons, but are confident to say that the Lord is our King and we are resting in his hands. bobs job has been quite rocky in the sense that he was not working much the last month of 2009 and the first several months of this year. Our chocolate Lab Harley is expecting a litter of puppies in the next several weeks, this was unplanned as we had been hoping to have her mate at some point with a black or chocolate lab. Beckie got a puppy for Christmas and they were not allowed to have it in thier apartment so she asked us to watch it for her and did not get it fixed..thus when Harley went into season...here we are with a prego doggy..oh well.

Beckie:

So Beckie is back home for the time being, Kyle has been in Afghanisan since mid-late May and is expected to come home mid November...speaking of expecting, yes, if you have not heard by now Beckie is expecting a baby September 1. She was going to start some classes when she got here but her morning sickness was so bad that she could hardly keep food down let alone try to concentrate on schoolwork. She has decided to wait until after the baby is born to enroll. As of right now, Kyle will be home for 6 months and then be re-deployed back to Afghanistan for 7 months. Her pregnancy is going great now that shes 27 weeks, but there are still days she feels quite queazy. They are excited about the baby and she will probably be posting pictures on facebook next week after her 4-D ultrasound this weekend.

Robyn:

So Zach got back to the states from South Korea mid May and they had their family celebration wedding in Prescott May 30. The weather and scenery were gorgeous and the mood was peaceful and happy. I think it turned out perfect and the bride and groom were very pleased. They have been super busy spending time with family and friends and are now preparing for thier travels across the country to their new home at Bolling Air Base in Washington, DC. Their stops on the way there include Iowa, Crivitz and Chicago to visit family and friends then off the DC to find a home! We are all excited that they are going to be living there and are already making plans to visit them and soak up some of the amazing history.

Brendan:

He made it through his Sophomore year at Willow Canyon HS and is enjoying the car his sister Robyn gave him. (She and Zach bought a new/used Jetta and gave Brendan the 2000 Elantra) He was in a small neghborhood band and decided the type of music was not what he wanted to be playing so he quit and formed his own band. He also got his first job! He is a happy employee at KFC and has proven to be quite the responsible teenager. He pays for his own gas and car insurance and is even tithing! He has also invested in some pretty cool speakers and a new guitar and has played on stage for a few different events locally. His new band is already scheduled to play at the Grand Opening weekend celebration at our church as they open the Phase2 building on our 40-acre facility early August.

So...this is the latest news in our family, I'm sure I left some stuff out so check back often for updates!

from august till now...

I'm not too sure where to start so I'll just give it a whirl! So in July Beckie took a break from Branden, her boyfriend of 2 1/2 years. She was trying to figure out what direction her life was going and took a trip to California to spend the weekend with her good friend Jessica. Jess is a US Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside and they decided to spend the weekend in San Diego on the beach for some good ole girl talk. Well,When Jess picked Beckie up at the airport, she got a call from her friend Kyle,(friends since Boot Camp) He needed a ride to pick up his new motorcycle, so Jess asked Beck if she minded, and so the story begins...Beckie and Kyle met and there were sparks...major sparks...

Beckie and Kyle saw each other every weekend and talked and texted every day all day and night until August 26th. That was Bob's mom and dads 48th wedding anniversary and that is the day Beckie and Kyle decided to begin their lives together, and they became Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Graham. Bob, Brendan, Robyn, Grandma, Grandpa and I were there to witness and enjoy the small ceremony and celebrate with cake and pictures on the beach and dinner at Olive Garden. The following weekend we went back out there and had some quality family time wth the newlyweds and the weekend after that Beckie officially moved out and became a Marine Wife. Our daughters are both married and as of Saturday they have both moved out.

Zach, Robyn's husband, is here visiting for 3 1/2 weeks and he helped Robyn find and move into their own place. It's bittersweet for Bob and I and I think Brendan feels a little lonely sometimeswith both his sisters gone, but since Robyn moved, she has been here everyday, haha..so there's something nice about that.

Not sure what else to say, that was quite alot, so if you have any questions, you can reply to this or email me at cindykrismer@yahoo.com

love...

Yep, it IS a crazy thing! and it is all over these days!! I see it in my husbands eyes when he looks at his children and me, I see it in my kids eyes when were talking about visiting friends and family in Chicago, and I have recently seen new love blossoming...and the look in the eyes of those who have been touched by new love is simply adorable...so, love a little each day, enjoy this time we have here on earth, and enjoy the blessings God has bestowed upon us and enjoy love <3
